The Gotcha was custom built By Chew Chew at the #1 Key west factory back in the day when boat building was an art form to a few special builders. Back then this boat was built to be the best charter boat in the business and she stands the test of time.
Just a huge fishing cockpit with livewells and fishboxes and lots of space to get your fishon. Gotcha has a big cabin with Air Conditioning and lots of room a big bathroom and a few bunks to lie down in if it is nap time.
The Captain, David Jensen is 3rd Generation Keys Conch, born and bread into the fishing business. Fishing with David is Just More Fun than fishing without David he brings the fish and the good Humor its always a pleasure on the Gotcha.
Gotcha The 45 foot #1 Key west is a very comfortable boat she was built as a charter boat for the waters of the Florida keys. From the Keel to the tower this boat was built for comfort. She is a Big boat with a salon that is air conditioned and has room to stretch out and be comfortable. Then down below there is room to stretch out on two nice bunks and there is a large bathroom in the bow.
Gotcha Has these two sets of sliding glass doors that makes it so that if you are in the salon you can see everything in the fishing cockpit and you are part of the action. Many of these air conditioned vessels make the salon with small windows and you feel separated in the air conditioned cabin,. This design future was very smart and lends itself to a better experience for everyone on board.
Then the fishing cockpit and the bridge are just a cut above any other boat in this size, seriously the cockpit is totally huge with 2 live wells, big catch box, Gotcha has better space than you will find on some 5-60 foot sport fishing boats. The Fly bridge has a cool layout that has the guests facing the cockpit while in the cool shade of the towers soft top over the helm area, unique in this lay out there is also room to sit on a perch above the bow with full sun and breeze. This boat is laid out fantastic and everyone is just so comfortable. Gotcha has a full tuna tower to find the birds boards and weeds that usually hold fish in the water of the gulf stream.
